Photography
Photography has shaped how I see the world, the things that I observe and the sense I make out of it or the stories that I weave out of it. The journey really took a new leap when I did a course on 'Photography : Learning to See' during my exchange semester in Israel. This section contains few od the photographs I took so far.

“Let’s measure the sky, and make a kingdom of dreams on top of the clouds.”

“Some cities are like a spider’s web. You meet some people. Then you go to other place and you meet more people. And then this monster gulps you into you like you always belonged there.”

“Wish I was a sculptor,
One amongst the Gods
I would have fixed your scars
Which you keep hiding below scarf.
But I am a sculptor
One amongst the humans.
I sculpt each day
Filling the scars with
ashes of misery.
With hope that some day
God would be inspired by my sculpts
And fix the err that
he has been committing.”

“Light should not interpret architecture; it must transform it!
Light should not enhance space and form; it should empower it!
Light is the life-force of man-made structures.
It is through light that events become meaningful.
Light marks our presence as alive and self-aware.
Burned in memory, light is profoundly experienced.”

“Edison’s Nightmare”

“Electric, nearly invisible, armed with poisoned harpoons.”

“The universe had to fall apart into dust first to become its majestic, incredible, infinite self. What makes you think this breaking, this trauma, this destruction, won’t be the making of a more powerful you too?”

“A giant harp that Gulliver could play!”

“There are no straight lines or sharp corners in nature. Therefore, buildings must have no straight lines or sharp corners.”

Self-portrait in six frames : They’ll definitely judge you, but still be yourself!

“Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging and joy—the experiences that make us the most vulnerable. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.”

“My Faith is larger than the Hills.
So when the Hills decay,
My Faith must take the Purple Wheel,
To show the Sun the way.” – Emily Dickinson

“Into my heart’s night
Along a narrow way
I groped; and lo! the light,
An infinite land of day.”

“The true beauty of music is that it connects people.”

“We are too impatient to walk, that we often forget to choose right shoes.”

“Its not the music that makes it beautiful but the pauses and silence between that makes it significant.”

“All the world’s a stage and most of us are desperately unrehearsed.”

“Either cross the line or suffocate in your comfort zone.”

“Your whole life is inside your mind. Your mind is the prism that refracts the entire universe. Everything around you and within you comes from your mind.”⁣

“Sometimes I feel we are like knots, too tangled to be taken apart.”⁣

“From the point of view of art, there are no concrete or abstract forms, but only forms which are more or less convincing lies.”

“The best way to protect yourself is to be formless as fluid.”⁣

“You may say we are dreamers, but we are not the only one. I hope someday you’ll join us.”

“In trying to be perfect,
He perfected the art of anonymity,
Became imperceptible
And arrived nowhere from nowhere.”

“The dreams of our early morning Like the
dew had passed away; Our skies of gold
and crimson Had turned to cloud and gray.
In the years that lay before us, Half seen
through the distant haze, The winters grew
drearily longer And briefer the summer days.”

“Play is not a break from learning. It is endless, delightful, deep, engaging, practical learning. It’s the doorway into the heart!”

“The fear, hate and courage”

“Gathering of Strangers”

“The melody of emptiness”

“There are a million ways to surf the sea of life, and as long as you’re smiling.”

“And, thus we look upon the lines and planes as ultimate union of silence and speech – a song.”

“You only have the burdens on you that you choose to put there.”⁣

“We never look beyond our assumptions and what’s worse, we have given up trying to meet others; we just meet ourselves.”

“Extinction is the rule. Survival is is the exception !”

“The madness of silence,⁣
That’s what music is.⁣
Escape from the violence,⁣
This is where the void begins.” ⁣

“Soon it got dusk, a grapy dusk, a purple dusk over tangerine groves and long narrow streets; the sun the color of pressed grapes, slashed with burgandy red, the color of love and mysteries. The burst of gray on lavender melts into saffron. It’s the time of day when the sky looks like it has been spray-painted by an artist.” ⁣

“Then clasp my hand with closer hold,⁣
True hearts are never unconsoled,—⁣
They fear not care, nor cloud, nor cold,⁣
And smile at growing old!”

“And so we go through the museum and we do not understand. All we know is that it happened. What should we do? Weep? We never try to tell the tale to make people weep. It is too easy. We do not want pity. If we decide to tell the tale – it is because we want the world to be a better world; just a better world and learn and remember.” ⁣

“If you see upside down, sky is also a deep chasm.”

“What sets you apart can sometimes feel like a burden and it’s not. And a lot of the time, it’s what makes you great.”

Hurray! Thank you for watching
